Or how man interpreted it.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@Paliglass More like how certain men designed it.

@Paliglass we know "A B C" is "A B C", not because we interpret it that way but because the order clearly shows/states "A B C". So also, the order shown in the picture above is blatantly shown/written as that in scripture, it's not something "interpreted" 🙁

@Lincoln98 man wrote ABC. It's a man made written code to express a man made auditory code used to express needs wants and desires. There's many languages (auditory code) and many written codes. Therefore many interpretations of how humans express themselves.

Christianity stems from Judaism. This is why it's believed "one God" Judaism decided there was one God after an earthquake. They decided they'd angered the Sky God El due to over worship of the fire God Bal and cast out all other Gods and Goddesses. All religion pre Christianity and Seihkism had Gods and Goddesses. So if we look a Judaism they have the mother lead in Sabath prayer and women have always inherited property - much more equal to men in that religion which is the basis of Christianity.
So did the Jews interpret the earthquake correctly? I don't know. Did the men interpret other "messages from God" correctly? I don't know. Based on how women have much more equal roles in Judaism has the interpretation been more warped along its journey? More than likely.

@Paliglass Your comment is UTTER FALLACY. I do not know even whether to be astounded or to be scared for you, in regards you supposed "knowledge".

I have no desire to hold debates so I will leave this short:
1st. Judaism did no begin frim some earthquake sign from El. Do your homework, miss. The torah is readily available if you would like to have a read

2nd. In Judaism, just as in Christianity, the man was head over the woman - in the same hierarchy as stated in the picture (excluding Christ, that is, as He had not come then).
When a man had sons & daughters, his inheritance went to his sons. If he had only daughters, his inheritance went to his daughters. When the daughters married, they were not marry outside of the tribe from which they were born into, lest the inheritance should go to a man of another tribe. So, by marrying still in the tribe, the inheritance of their father stayed in the tribe.

3rd. Christianity does not cover inheritance of whatever sort, because the main goal is Heaven. So, in regards inheritance, it adheres to the law of the land - whether it allots to the son or the daughter or both.

4th. Please, just pick a Bible a read. Conjecture does no good. Willful ignorance is dangerous - even to death.

Love you. Do have a lovely day.

@Lincoln98 have read the Quaballah, it was a Jewish scholar I heard explain about Bal and El, I have not only read the Bible but been to Bible study and have read the Quoran. As well as studied Hinduism, Kuaana (ancient Hawaiin religion), Paganism, Wicca and Seihkism, oh and Buddhism.

To your defence IF this line of religion (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) is indeed the "one true path" Then Christianity is the religion I would choose of the three because according to prophecy after the son of God comes a false messiah sent from the devil to create war.

I also liked the aboriginal faith and the Romany mythology but...

Scientology is the funniest religion. Now that "religion" within known history comes from a work of fiction and is yet taken as a true faith so if that is happening within our lifetime then how can it not cause doubt that all other faiths come from fiction taken to be fact?

For me I take all faiths as possible. I believe in an energy or force that runs through and connects all life. Physics has arguments for there being more to life than life. But I'm in the gutter looking up at the stars, as we all are, so I have no idea what the "truth" of it is and prefer to live my life mindfully of others with consideration and do my best. I am human and unqualified to pass assumption on what is "the one true faith" but for those who do I feel they are putting divine expectations on their human being and destined to fail. To preach to others is also dicey as how we influence others could also effect our own being which again, if there is indeed more to life than life, is asking for trouble. I left Bible study because I asked so many questions that an elderly lady started to loose her faith, I felt that was inappropriate, I was not there to make others doubt, I was there to explore their belief so I am happy for you that you are happy in your faith and glad it gives you direction and comfort which seems to be the general purpose of all faiths.

Much luck, love and blessings.

@Paliglass All religions come from works of fiction and superstition. Ancient man noticed certain correlations between events and, unable to explain them otherwise, attributed them to gods. Together these observations formed the basis of doctrine which, in some cases, was then spread by force - if you didn't believe you were denying "god" so were put to death. Viz. the christiized Roman invasions, the crusades and the witch trials.

@suzie1960 ancient people worshipped the sun and the seasons and believed "God" was all around them. That makes sense, without the sun we'd be dead.

I find scientology funny because it was intended as fiction. But then so was the old testament - it was a book of stories written so ley people could have an understanding of the Quabahalla.
