We are a people who want instant gratification.

Information at our fingertips.
Spending money before we earn it.
We want good food and we want it fast.
We want sex, without work, without courtship.
We want our kids to behave without going through the trials and frustrations of parenting.

People today want everything easy. And when things are harder, and need work.. They fail.
