I hated my name when i was little. I actually like it now though.

It's not that I hate my name, it's that more and more I think of introducing myself as Ronin instead. A "ronin" was a samurai without a master who sometimes (in the case of Miyamoto Musashi), wandered all over Japan studying martial arts and duelling. Given my history and lifestyle I think it fits me well

I hated my name but was always called by a nickname my sister gave me. Even now when I'm called by my proper name I think I'm in trouble or I don't answer. I like my given name.
