I Have a Question How many people know the real you?

hmmm?..thats an interesting question....some people know me as i am a very open about myself but not many know everything about me....i am very selective who I let completely into my world... my kids know me well but they have never taken the time to really know me does that makes sense..i think it takes a very special person that values you so much that they actually want to know and love the real you...that i the ultimate gift i think. my best friends usually know me pretty well ,maybe not everything tho it depends on how much I trust them...my dad knew the real me.He was the one person I could call at 3 am and he'd be there for me Always....thats a precious thing to have. I think maybe a friend online knows quite a lot about the real me too bad I dont know who exactly they are :(

People glimpse certain sides of me, but only 1 or 2 honestly know who I am. Too much personal knowledge given to the wrong person or in the wrong situation = too much opportunity and power to hurt/destroy you.

infinite blue~ it sounds like this may happen often ..and I've been told if several people are telling you the same thing / similar thing ....then its wise to look at yourself and see how it could possibly be contributing to that result ..just my thoughts ..and if you are misunderstood why do you allow it to go on instead of straightening out the misunderstanding?? just something to ponder..ive had to do this and its not fun ..but its worth it.
