What are good lures to use saltwater fishing in the gulf
(South Padre Island, Tx to be precise)

Hmmm sorry I know not much about fishing, looks I couldn't help you...but once you decided which lures to use, I'd suggest you to use green or blue or violet if you're going to run your lure deeper into the sea, because lights behaves differently in water where colours of light have different wavelengths. In water, the warmer colour(like red, orange and yellow) it is, the deeper it fades. Well maybe you've already know these haha
