I Have a Question

Am I being a bad son if I don't say happy father's day to my dad? He's a good father, but I don't really want to talk to him. I'm not super close to him, but I also don't want to hurt him. Should I just swallow the pill and talk to him, or is it ok for me to go on with my day and not say anything and ultimately feel better, even with the minor guilt?

How do you know it has anything to do with abuse Wlf? That was quite the attack, considering he never specified. For all we know his Father did terrible things to him. Don't assume.
