I Have a Question

Am I being a bad son if I don't say happy father's day to my dad? He's a good father, but I don't really want to talk to him. I'm not super close to him, but I also don't want to hurt him. Should I just swallow the pill and talk to him, or is it ok for me to go on with my day and not say anything and ultimately feel better, even with the minor guilt?

Why wouldn't you want to try and make him happy, just for ONE day (or minute) of your time?
