The problems with it were simple.
They had hoped to attract advertisers and so share the cost of running the site.
But it didnt happen.
There was (so it's reported) a murder which occurred in the U.S. and they used the site as a way of communicating prior to it happening.
And the other reason is that because of the anonymity issue.
Following new laws in the U.S. you need to give personal data to join ANY website in the U.S.
Aparantly EP were asked to provide details of all members on their site. This in light of new terror laws passed in the states.
They argued that to do so negates the whole point of being able to share personal experiences without fear or favour. The U.S. said 'Do it or we shut you down!'
The owners then decided better to pull the plug, regroup and restart.
Experience again is the name of the site.
There is a WEBPAGE and you can leave your details to be contacted when the new site officially opens.
However. The launch date has been put back several times.
