My suggestions are:

How about Best answer to questions, caption of the day, joke of the day, hottest or best questions, most answered questions, most popular or trending questions, most discussed or followed,
A whiteboard, ability to send each other e-cards, a chat feature..
Trophies, remember those on EP, we used to get trophies for most best answers..
it's all just a bit of fun
are they planning on doing a site "Question of the day"
Will there be featured questions?
