2 questions for men.. Please answer in private message.
1. Finish this sentence: "As a man amongst men, I am....." In other words, how do you see yourself in the world of men, in reference to the notion of manhood?
2. Can you describe any sensation you felt/thought as a young and innocent boy in reference to being a man? It could be something you saw an adult man do or say that made you wonder about your own future self as a man in the world.

THE TRUTH ABOUT MEN - a play for 4 actors.
I am writing a (predominantly) verbatim stage play about ALL men (any age) and our inner-most thoughts, fears, delusions, dreams and experiences from birth to death. This verbatim style of theatre means I draw on dialogue taken from real people through what they say in interviews, recordings, forums,etc. I am looking for you (men) to contribute in the same way, to speak your truth from the heart for my play (which I want to tour internationally). This means you can send me what you may have already written or send new stuff. The way I operate, is that I send you a few questions at a time and you respond. Or if you have something to say about your life as a man, you can just send it. It can be just a few lines or a few paragraphs. As I progress with the script, I will send some more questions. You just respond if you feel you have something to contribute to the document. I can send you a copy of the first 11 page draft which already includes dialogue from a dozen men. The more men that contribute the more authentic the play, so please share this message with other men you know. I sincerely hope to hear from you soon.
