Why do people who ask ignorant questions seem to feel superior to others to the point that they believe their own sh1t?

I mean REALLY, are these people serious? Are they being trolls, what's their problem

Yes I believe that here stupid or ignorant questions can be started purposely in an attempt to troll or start at heated discussion....
The person I dealt with last night was just being an asshole for the sake of it though..
