@ MightyAphrodite- I don't eat in those places, either. Incidentally, they are very unhealthy for anybody with diabetes. Their food contains hidden sugars that you can't taste. I have experience. They taught me to hate fries, I'd rather have steamed swede. Very satisfying and much healthier.

I hardly eat burgers but when I splurge, it's a Whopper Jr out of these options.
But we have Whattaburger here. Kinda makes BK and McDonalds a moot point.

@jennyLynn- I'l try that, sounds good and healthy. Rutabagas- Wash and peel it. Cut off top. Cut it into 1/2 " cubes. put a steamer basket in a 2 or 3 qt. saucepan, then put the diced rutabaga in with some H2O. Cover pot. Steam for 1/2 hr or until tender. Dish them into a bowl and sprinkle cinnamon over them. Great flavor and very satisfying.

I know only McDonald's. I would only eat there again if I had absolutely no choice. I have had McDonald's many times, as a child. Adults assume all children love that creepy clown, and all those grotesque characters. . . What is that purple thing?
