IS abortion murder? I think you can only murder a person and a fetus is not a person.

I was talking to a girl who seemed to feel that the only quality of personhood is being genetically human. Or at least she was unwilling to suggest any other characteristics that might make a person.

What say you?

I agree with RisingVirginia,
If it means that it is alive and it's human(not necessarily a person yet), then technically speaking taking that life is murder.

I can see where you're coming from though.
