IS abortion murder? I think you can only murder a person and a fetus is not a person.

I was talking to a girl who seemed to feel that the only quality of personhood is being genetically human. Or at least she was unwilling to suggest any other characteristics that might make a person.

What say you?

I'm sorry you see this as me forcing you. I'm just trying to get you to think about it.

You say there is no difference between a human and a person.
So i've given you an example of something that is genetically human with nothing of the inner mental complexity that is part of what we are.

Just humour me and answer that question. Is it that you don't know the answer? You can say that.
