Off to the cottage this weekend, for both work and relaxation. Lots of trimming of branches to do, so I'll be running a chainsaw for a a few hours, but then it is time to kayak, fish, play my guitar on the deck and listen to the wolves after midnight. And of course, beer is a staple.

* sigh* it's a hard life too ...movie in the park, possibly going to the pool , and grocery shopping ......poor me 😆

I may open a bottle of wine and just have one glass! Hiking along the coast again this weekend.

Yes Sweetemotions, I have been doing it (hiking on the coast) about twice a month and love it...sometimes after my long hike I polish off the rest of the bottle!!!

My son turns 14 (Yikes!) tomorrow so he's requested that we go to the mall and go bowling afterwards. If I can just remember that the bowling balls are supposed to go forward instead of backwards I'll be okay. Might go see Dory as well. I'm guessing Sunday will be spent BBQing and relaxing in the pool as it's become a tradition for us.

Just to close the loop: It was screamingly hot, but still trimmed trees for 6 hours, caught a lovely little large mouth and my 9 year old caught her first fantastic walleye, swam a lot, beers aplenty.
