"Why do some women fight over a guy? stop..you make yourself look like you ugly acting like only one guy is out there for you seriously?"@Apparentlyicanhavemyname; 22-25, F
Ok, girlfriend, although there exists plenty of theory from the world of psychology and socio-biology, let's look at your question from a Buddhist perspective:
First, the girls have a raging pot of: DESIRE
Nothing Cerebral here. It's all lust and aggression.
Second, each girl projects some value the possession of such a hunk would do for them if they had him. This is based, of course, on ILLUSION. Why? Because more than likely they don't know anything more about him and his suitability as a mate than two stray cats dreaming about being lost in a fish market.
Thirdly, if they are 'fighting' each other for him, this is based on the most primitive part of our human nature which is to get laid and propagate at all costs without checking if this has anything to do with higher concepts such getting along with each other and having COMPASSION for all the players in this little drama. This means their entire world is made up of EGO and serving whatever appetite they happen to have at the moment.
So, now you have in our little bag a mix of DESIRE, ILLUSION, and EGO.
And what do you get after we shake up the bag a little and then serve?
Answer: A whole truck load of Human SUFFERING.
And such is our little drama called "Being An IDIOT when you had a chance of acting from WISDOM.
Ta Dah!
