Absolutely.

It should absolutely be legal. People with chronic pain and other ailments could benefit from it and local governments could as well. As much as I don't like the idea of it being taxed, I do think it should be available to people, just as alcohol is. Maybe, just maybe, if people have the choice, they won't choose alcohol. Lives are destroyed by both alcohol and prescription drugs. Marijuana is the better choice.

It's legal where I live and I support the law. I never use the stuff, though.

Hemp has many more benefits than fabric and paper - two of the reasons it was made illegal by the forces of Rockerfellow and his ilk. Hemp seed and the oil from that has many nutritional and pharmaceutical benefits as does marijuana - CBD's

Bhaava darling you can support a person's right to do what they want with their own body without actually having to do the thing yourself.
The problem here is national health care.IF you make health care a government controlled "right" and if marijuana results in more cases of people needing treatment paid for by those who do not take drugs, the user is enjoying himself and passing the responsibility on to others.
The obvious answer then is yes man should be able to harm himself anyway he chooses. No he does not have the right to burden others. Ergo legalize drugs and return health care completely into private hands.

I would absolutely legalize it. The fact that we can buy tequila in stores while marijuana is illegal is absurd. I also think it would help with the chronic pain I deal with.

Don't use it but tried it a few times; didn't get it; it just relaxed me. I can see how it might be good for chronic pain users until they're driving and crash into another vehicle because they're high then they got acute pain...lol and yeah I do know some people that toke so much they have had several wrecks or backed into cars when they wouldn't normally have because they were high...lol

Apparently there are legitimate medical uses, but other than that, I am not in favor of legalization at this point.
@Abrienda such a thought provoking and wholesome answer as usual. Well done dear.I'm learning a lot from you every day
Abrienda · 26-30, F
Can you explain why Mrs. Arch? I am sure you have good reasons and would like to read them

@bisubdave I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks of the same reasons.

Weed is not harmful. No one in history has died from it. Unless one is dumb enough to snort it lol. But weed and hemp have so many be if it's of the world, hemp can be used for fabric, paper and saves forest logging. The CBD content in weed (not thc) has extraordinary medical benefits. It's only illegal because loss of profits for big pharmecutical companies, and many manufacturing industries.

Yea but on the other hand i would work to lessen its usage.
EvilEmily · F
i never smoked any myself but i think it should be legalized
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
for medicinal use, yes..
WarmAtNight · M
Yes. Of course.
DragonTheDragon · 31-35, M
The sooner it's legal the sooner we can stop enforcing this idiotic law and the government can start saving money and even make some through tax
tenente · 100+, M
Yes. Smoking marijuana is harmless and supports my plans to stomp on lazy pot heads and achieve world domination.
