If a man asked you to join him on a walk, is it most likely for platonic or romantic reasons?

First, I want to be clear that I am not interested in dating or anything romantic at this point in my life, but if a man you have met on several occasions – through a community event – asks you to go walking (we both like walking), is it safe to think that it's purely platonic, and no motives of romance involved...at least on his part?

Apart from my ex-spouse and male relatives, I've never been alone (or done any kind of activity) with a man for more than 25-years.

Would a man ask you to go walking for purely platonic reasons, or is there some other motivation?

I have always got along with guys better than ladies ... Some of those male / female friendships tend to end because one or another wants more than friendship and it's not happening ....it makes it hard to maintain those types of friendships at times ..just life !
