Sadly, yes, a number of times over the decades. It never hurts any less :'(

I had to make that decision when my 15 year old dog had a tumor that was killing her.
The morning that I was scheduled to take her to the vet, I was laying with her on the couch and she died right next to me. It was heartbreaking but I am thankful I didn't have to put her down. So sorry about your loss. I was so sad after losing my dog and missed her so much.

That's horrible, pets are really close family members that love you unconditionaly . They have shorter lifespans than us. Please try to think about how lucky you are that he or she was in your life, dying was inevitable but you two were together for a lot if I bet great years!

Aww I'm so sorry.I have two cats and I'd be in trouble if they needed to be. For crying out loud, I cried for 3 days when my hamster died. I hope it gets better for you.
