I Have a Question

Why would someone post a picture of themselves asking whether other people consider them to be attractive? 1) I don't think strangers on the Internet would say anything negative about other people 's appearance, not directly at least 2) I think that the only judge of how attractive you are should be you (if you feel comfortable in your own skin other people's opinions shouldn't matter at all) 3) That to me seems like you're only fishing for compliments/attention. This is just my opinion, I might be wrong though.

@Candy Yes, that's my opinion. I didn't say I had anything against people who do that. It's just that we all have mirrors,I have one at home and It always shows me how I look, I can't expect from others to tell me that. That wouldn't be objective, it would be their perception of me-not reality. I have flaws, we all do, but no matter how insecure I feel, I know that posting a picture of myself on an anonymous site and asking others to rate how I look wouldn't be something that would help me deal with my insecurities. It would only attract creepy old men who think they can flatter their way into getting nudes or whatever.
