Do you think racism by Whites is the root of all evil?

It would do everyone a lot of good to actually look into Slavery, and where it began thousands of years ago. It sure as hell didn't start with the "White Man". But it sure did end by the white man, (in the US). We fought a civil war over it!

You don't hear about any slaves thanking the families of the soldier's that fought and died to free them from oppression.

Maybe the people that race bait, and profit from the crap they stir should be examined closer.

I have never had a problem with my "Friends" or "Strangers" no matter what color they are, when we treat each other well. It's not really about Black, White or Brown...it's all about ignorance, and letting others think for you. My friend's, no matter the color, all agree that we all love each other, and no "Hater" will ever be able to turn us against each other. Your enemy is the media , and those that profit from turmoil.

There are more indentured slaves today, than ever before! All colors, all Nationalities, men, and women! Sex trafficked women(and men) are captive all over the World! Seem's like to me we should concentrate on helping people today versus those that were wronged 100's of years ago.

I am a descendant of all people on Earth from thousands of years of evolution, not of one race or color. We all came from two people in the beginning!

Forty years of "sensitivity training" and listening to every "special group" telling everyone how whites are the worst people in the world, I've had my fill of of it and take offense to it. Personally there is no way in the world that I would want to take advantage of anyone. To me people are people. Everyone has feeling. Everyone feels joy and pain. One thing that really bothers me is for someone to accuse me of "hating" someone because of their "special reason" without getting to know who I am first. No way would I want to put anyone down for anything. One more year before I retire and I will never ever go to another force sensitivity training session again. I've had my fill of "special groups" automatically categorizing me and telling me I'm the worst person in the world. They don't even know who I am. People that do bother me are the ones that have a chip on their shoulder and automatically assume they deserve more than someone else. We are all people. Get over it and let's support everyone in a positive way!

Because institutionalized racism is a really terrible thing. It certainly was something that I was brought up with in south Louisiana. I remember my father telling me that "they are not like us. You can be friendly, but you can't be friends with them," as if black people couldn't relate to me or would turn on me because I was white. I'm definitely one of these left leaning people you are talking about, and it is partly because of the disparity and the racism that I witnessed growing up. The neighborhoods and the schools were segregated, and while racism was rampant on both sides of the street, I completely understand why someone might be a little angry that they were not afforded the same opportunities for education or jobs. Stating that racism is not just a white problem does not negate the fact that institutionalized racism exists, so for me, that is not a valid argument. Yes, there are other groups who discriminate and who are discriminated against, but for a very long time whites males held social power and still do.

i m just sick of people blaming entire religions and races for the cruel deeds of the corrupt few, i mean it is like saying if a man somewhere in the world raped a woman every man on earth is a rapist and then they even try to justify their irrational crap
