I was a school teacher and not at all naive. I stopped believing anything the kids said after the first 6 months. 🤣

You don't involve them in anything that requires responsibility and reliability.

We never really know what someone may be going through There’s usually a reason behind every excuse sometimes people are genuinely busy or dealing with something, and sometimes they simply want to distance themselves We can’t always know the reason.
