What did you have to unlearn ?

@Mindfulness I did that a few years ago ...it's linked to co dependency...I always had this need to want to help everyone..but then it can turn into enabling them and making things worse ...I still care and still help but I learned the right way to do this...takes time to put it into practice

@Chern0bylplaygr0unds I really struggle with wanting to do everything for everyone. I don't know if it's a need to be liked or valued. One of my many therapists has said it's possibly linked to my parents messy and violent divorce.
All I know is that it's a really difficult mindset to get out of.
