Are you easy to get close to… or does it take time?

believe it or not. i'm very difficult to get to know, very few people I let in. So if I let you in, that's special, offline even worse. besides family...nobody knows me.

I have always differentiated colleagues from acquaintances from friends.

I have considered few people actual friends over my decades. Even among family and friends, I'm not sure how many really "get" me. Some I thought did, but didn't really.

It's okay. I was extremely shy when young. I moved past that, but elements of that still exist.
