@Reject Lexy got her love of reggae from me and met some guys at the gym who haven’t been in the US long, they wanted to know who had reggae playing on her speaker in the gym court and thought is was her bf they knew. They were shocked it was the white girl’s playlist 🤣 They asked her how she knew it and she told them you can thank my mom, I grew up on it 🤣

@MellyMel22 I know how she feels. People see and hear me and they never expect me to be listening to Carley Rae Jepsen. Vanessa Carlton. Michelle Branch. Etc. They’re always confused by it. 😅

@Reject I guess they didn’t know it was big in NY for a while, at least in the city I know. I introduced it to friends when I moved and some djs were shocked by my requests for it 🤦🏻‍♀ I remember women all afraid to dance to it at one and after a bit seeing me alone, they joined 🤣 How can you not move to reggae. I don’t get it. I hear it and my hips move automatically 😆
