What’s your favorite song to workout to if you have one?

This has always been mine. I think cause it feels like so much is going on 😅 But it also reminds me of the music we used to practice for dance recitals as kids for years.

Work out ?

@OogieBoogie Half of mine is standing on a vibration board just balancing, but I do a part on it too.
@MellyMel22 ugh....i gotta take a leaf outta your book and get my shit together and start.
MellyMel22 · F
@OogieBoogie I think the vibration boards are great for that and help with some health stuff too! My lower back started to hurt bad and stopped completely within 2 days of starting it again.
@MellyMel22 i actually do have a playlist for it....
...but im not sure if what i do is classified as working out, as its more "trying to make housework less dreary" and dancing at the kitchen sink and while i fold my washing😏

Also...my submissions to the cause🤗:[media=https://youtu.be/wMoxeMpxI7o]

@MellyMel22 WOW!
really?

I do know all those small muscles we often don't specifically work out are the very things that support all our larger muslces.

You got me considering.....
MellyMel22 · F
@OogieBoogie I do that cleaning and when I cook 🤣 Takes me longer to clean though 🤣

I like the first one a lot.
MellyMel22 · F
@OogieBoogie I have this one. Obviously there’s diff types of things it can and prob can’t help, but I love it!

@MellyMel22 Lymphatic drainage !!!

Well damn.... this is my very latest subject of interest!

I didn't know these plates worked on that .

Thank you SO MUCH 🤗

ILLY is a very cool band.
They have some great stuff.
MellyMel22 · F
@OogieBoogie Yeah, that got me. High speed it feels like a burn at first and your legs can be a bit sore, but I have longterm chronic pain especially in my legs and this has helped me at least. Everyone is diff though!

I haven’t heard of them before till you mentioned them!
@MellyMel22 interestng.

Im trying to AVOID impending pain...coz im old as shit 😂

Im all for ANYTHING that'll keep medication at bay a bit longer.

Its such s cowinkydink that you mentioned it.... just as im looking for ways to help my lymph system.

I got onto lymphatic drainages from researching fascia, (which they are now discovering is way more important, and does more), than doctors originally thought.

Its annoys me that we were never taught any of this stuff at school - basic body functions and health.

I bet you had to do your own research to help you find solutions ?
MellyMel22 · F
@OogieBoogie I try to avoid it too! But this is temporary and you can just the level! I just tend to be all the way or not at all with everything 😅

I was interested in that b/c of that too! Someone had bought it for my mom and I liked it and researched it more.

I wish we were taught it too!

I did have to do a lot of research to figure out things the drs couldn’t. One of my favs was milk thistle to clean the liver(I have issues w/high saylicilates and there’s some reason it can be that I learned cleaning the liver can help and it did help me- can’t spell it)I have to talk to my cardio about it though cause the cleaner the liver is, the stronger the meds can get. I’m not trying to mess with heart meds. My primary likes the idea but told me to let her look into it though I haven’t heard from her, so..
@MellyMel22 its good youve got people who wanna do the research.

Here, our medical system has jumped up to mass production:
Ie: short visits with no regular doctor.
Its a mess.

All i get is medication shoved at me. Its highly annoying.

If i hadn't got onto researching myself, id be on about 5 different drugs by now.(Prolly more🙄).

It's just rubbish how we aren't educated to heal ourselves.

But thanks again. Im definitely looking into this device💪

@MellyMel22 My ex got one of these to try out.
It was surprisingly a good workout and kinda fun, so we kept it. We had the little ones who really liked it, 😬 so we were going to break it down to store away. It had springs that stayed on as you folded it. I was having a rough time with the locking mechanism and ask for assistance. She pushed down on the otherside when I unlocked it. These springs were short and thick, and Strong!!!

As I was getting my forehead stitched up, I decided it was going back.

I rocked the Metallica Black album for workouts.

@Levenrack I always wanted to get one, but I’m not comfortable jumping so I didn’t 😂

Sounds like something good for working out!
Levenrack · 46-50, M
@MellyMel22 Rebounding is cardio and comparable to running. But easier on the joints.
I've been thinking about getting another one but a non-folding, large one, since my kids are not kids anymore. 😊
MellyMel22 · F
@Levenrack Yeah, I imagine it’d not be great with kids!
