What do you consider afternoon?
If someone says they'll be her" in the afternoon," what time frame would pop into your mind as being afternoon? Would any specific time jump into your mind?

I'll jump on the 12-5 bandwagon, with the caviot that if you are showing up in the afternoon for an afternoon activity, 4:55 would be late.
