How do you pass the time, when everyone is so busy with their own lives, or worrying about the state of the world?

I obsess over 1 or 2 of my 3 things I like most, films, music and books, and those can be like an ambiance in which SW activity as with music can be quite fun, not demanding anything instant because the instant is already joyous without having anything happen on top of it all.
