Wouldn’t it be helpful to indicate when a user has been blocked?

So you can understand or trace the reason why it happened in the first place.

Or unnecessary?

Even if you knew the date and time, that doesn't mean you know the reason. You'd have to have something like *the user was looking at this post and then blocked you.* or *the user was on page two of your groups and then blocked you. * Since the purpose of blocking someone is to end interactions, then supplying the blocked person with a ton of very specific info is counter to the intent.
