Is there anyone you avoid contact with, family members or others, and why?

If someone had a grudge to bear, what would it take for them to forgive and forget? Seeing we are only in this world for a short time, would you take it to the grave?

My dad's second wife. She wanted to keep in touch after my dad passed but I clearly remember her spiteful ways and jealousy when we were kids and visited our dad in the school holidays.
Yes, life is short, too short to waste time on those who don't deserve it.

@RodneyTrotter1 No one forgets how they were treated as a child but I wonder if when your dad died she felt so alone she selfishly wanted you to stay in touch so you could be there for her if she needed you? You certainly didn't want someone as toxic as her in your life.
