I believe in free will, not destiny, but I do believe everything happens for a reason. Because Action A-1 leads to Action A-2, and so on, but can change if some variable is changed in between. If Action B-1 is taken instead, then it leads to Action B-2, and so on. Action B in this case is an entirely different action from Action A. It's the choice you would pick if you didn't pick Action A in the first place. We pick different paths that lead to many different choices. There will be benefits and costs for every action we take. I also believe everything happens for a reason because whatever we do has positive and negative outcomes. We can choose to regret what we did or accept it. I'd rather be happy with my choices, even if pain and suffering came with them.
