What’s a food you have tried that was most out of your comfort zone?
Mine was probably horse, being American it’s taboo here but not in other parts of the world. Yes, I liked it.

Problem was, decades ago, a very major fast food chain attempt to hide the fact that they were using horse meat. That sort of contributed to the idea that it's a taboo.
