@Pretzel I don't understand.

@Lostpoet the next inauguration day for the newly elected prez.

Trump can't be elected again due to term limits.

Fingers crossed.

@Pretzel I think they are trying to get rid of the term limits. But Trump will be too old in 2029 anyways. Is there a candidate to watch out for that might make a good president?

@Lostpoet I haven't been impressed with anybody since Lincoln - ad no I am NOT that old
Lostpoet · M
@Pretzel To Run a country I mean in my opinion 70-79 is too old to run a country.

@Lostpoet MIght have agreed 30 years ago - now that I'm in that age range I wouldn't disount the age as long as they provided a clean medical check. The US has had a ton of crappy presidents in their 50s and 60s.
Lostpoet · M
@Pretzel Trump and Biden were both in their late seventies while in office.

@Lostpoet yeah and Reagan was 69 when elected - and was working on his dimentia.

I'm not disagreeing that it may be the end of the shelf life - just not saying it is necessarily so.

Me? I'm still working and over 70 - and know tons more about my job than people half my age. But when I'm no longer able to do the job I hope I recognize it before somebody has to point it out for me.
