I think work has left me no choice today...

I want to work, but not a long day.

My seniors broke their kitchen faucet and it only leaks when they use it, so it's not an emergency, but I want to replace it today because they forget.

And work has me scheduled all stinking day.

I wish I could work a half day but it's a crap retail job and I'm only there to be abused. They'll just say no if I ask. But won't fire me for calling out 😂

I'm worried about missing the pay, but I'm also worried about my seniors flooding their kitchen.

Can you afford to switch to caregiving entirely? I imagine the pay would be even better than retail but not sure 🤔

@Notsimilarreally it's better for sure but they can only afford during the week. I'm just going to help them today because their children don't want to deal with anything.

@ScreamingFox surely you could find new clients to take on to fill out your schedule : ) (a lot of the time they don't even mind if you bring your kid! A total plus)

@Notsimilarreally I tried bringing my son but it seemed a little traumatic for him. They're angry and yelling a lot of the time and it was uncomfortable for him. I used to get him to read to them but they're so confused they can't listen anymore.
