How tall are you?

@peterlee Does that mean you were a particularly tall boy or that you are more shorter than the average man now?

@peterlee Amazing. I remember a boy in my class a school who could well have been that tall by the age of 12, but my memory is that we caught up with him. Conversely, I had a very short boy in a class I taught whose mum was very concerned that he was very short at 14/15 and medical intervention was considered. It didn't happen, thank goodness, and he grew to over 6ft in a couple of years after he was 16. Another confirmation that 'normal' doesn't exist for human beings.

@peterlee When I was in seventh grade, there was a boy from Italy who had just arrived in the U.S.; he was older than the rest of us, about 14, and he was 6 ft tall.
