1. Copy their text,
So you find their text you want:

2 Highlight it. How you do rhis depends whether you are on a computer or phone etc ..
- and press/press "copy" once highlighted

3. Go to where you want to put the quote in, click so your get a flashing marker where tou want the quote to go,
- and then go up thr top and click on the quotation marks up in the bar above your reply

Itll appear as:

....(sometimes at this point I click on the space bar to make a more obvious gap to put the text in:
(I just think it makes it easier, but you dont have to)

4. You then click on that gap, (or long press if youre using a phone), and youll get options come up:

Click "paste", and you should be done.

- Itll first appear as'
They may make several different statements and I want to reply to just one for example..

- - If you qant to check that its done right, go to the bottom of the reply you are making.....and youll see an 'eye' icon:

Click that, and youll get a rendition of how your reply will appear when posted:

Click on that 'x' in the corner to exit that screen and go back to what you are drafting/typing .

I hope this isnt too confusing.

Also.... this is how i do it.
Someone may know a better way.
