1. Copy their text, So you find their text you want:
2 Highlight it. How you do rhis depends whether you are on a computer or phone etc .. - and press/press "copy" once highlighted
3. Go to where you want to put the quote in, click so your get a flashing marker where tou want the quote to go, - and then go up thr top and click on the quotation marks up in the bar above your reply
Itll appear as:
....(sometimes at this point I click on the space bar to make a more obvious gap to put the text in:
(I just think it makes it easier, but you dont have to)
4. You then click on that gap, (or long press if youre using a phone), and youll get options come up:
Click "paste", and you should be done.

They may make several different statements and I want to reply to just one for example..
- - If you qant to check that its done right, go to the bottom of the reply you are making.....and youll see an 'eye' icon:
Click that, and youll get a rendition of how your reply will appear when posted:
Click on that 'x' in the corner to exit that screen and go back to what you are drafting/typing .

This "quote others" thing...and then add a reply to each quote, is a very "old guy" thing.

Thing is....its also kinda annoying. Its like some one is telling you what you said..... when you know exaclty what you said.
Its not amicable "conversational". It becomes very "anylitical" like, and gets a very unfriendly feel.
People arent spreadsheets. They arent studies to be broken down into components. They are human. Its a conversation, not a survey or a questionnaire 😅
Be careful how you use this. It can be a slightly visally "aggressive" way to debate. You know, LIKE USING CAPITALS ... makes people feel like youre shouting 🤷♀
