what was your word for 2025?

did you choose a word? did anything interesting happen because you chose that word? if you choose a word, what word is for 2026?

for me: my word was grow and i heard someone else say bloom, so i liked that and i took that as my word for 2025. not sure if anything came from that. i'd like to think i did grow. i maybe grew more resilient? this year was challenging for me.

i don't know what word i will choose for 2026. i heard something interesting. i don't believe in astrology, but 2025 was the year of the snake which has to do with shedding. 2026 is the year of the horse which is all about bold, unstoppable movement.

This is more interesting than resolutions. Mostly because it is about abstract and yet much deeper goals.

Those words can be put into work in any way. The possibilities are endless whereas resolutions are often a fixed list and it can get detached from the demands of reality.

I don't really make either. Maybe I will go with a word the next year.
