I think my 40s have almost entirely been about excavating all the things I loved to do as a kid, but this time loving all those things and refusing to feel insecure about them / hide them.

- making art
- rpgs like dungeons & dragons
- Warhammer 40k
- writing poetry & stories
But I don't worry about being cool. I don't worry about whether or not someone is mad at me all the time - I wait for them to tell me; and I don't pretend to be someone I'm not.
As a kid I was a VERY picky eater; I suppose that is one thing I have fully abandoned. I'll try anything once, and live all kinds of foods.
Another thing I used to do as a kid was lie to avoid trouble / conflict - I'm all out of secrets now, and life is MUCH better this way.
