What is the most expensive thing you own?

@JimboSaturn my parents haven't had anyone in school in over 20 years but still pay the school tax

@saragoodtimes We don't pay a seperate school tax, it's baked into our property taxes.

@JimboSaturn we pay a township tax, school tax and county tax

@saragoodtimes We tell the municipality what schoolboard do we want the portion of our property tax to fund.

I don't mind paying it. Education is important for our soceity.

@JimboSaturn our town wastes a lot money on BS projects. solar heating for the garage that houses the busses and over a million dollars to upgrade the football field

@saragoodtimes our County exempts homeowners 65 and over from school taxes, but you can’t make more that 121k total annual income

@saragoodtimes Yes I prefer my taxes to benefit everyone, not just football players.
