I have never been in a long-term relationship like this and I am curious...

How long would you be content to be in a long-term ,but online only relationship with someone?
I was thinking of a friend who has been for quite a few years now.
I don't think I would be able to handle something like that and wouldn't even want to try ,but it must work for some.

@LadyBronte I can't say I've ever had a bona fide relationship that went on for years ... I had one, I thought might go that way once...that was enough for me... he turned on me like a rabid dog and said all kinds of terrible things about me, because I said it wasn't going to work out.
That was many years ago now.
