I have never been in a long-term relationship like this and I am curious...

How long would you be content to be in a long-term ,but online only relationship with someone?
I was thinking of a friend who has been for quite a few years now.
I don't think I would be able to handle something like that and wouldn't even want to try ,but it must work for some.

It would need to be short-term long distance relationship. It wouldn't work if we can't ever be together in person and have no plans to be together in person. I've done the long distance thing and it was too hard for us both to be apart even though we met in person and such the distance wasn't good. I don't think many relationships can survive that, more power to them if they are both happy but for me I would need us to be at least working towards being together in the same place.

Online is so deceptive for many people too you don't know what that other person's really like or what they're really doing.
It's probably almost one in a million that you'd find two such honest people that they could trust each other that far apart.

@Justmeraeagain Yes, it's really hard to truly know someone fully online. I do think you really need to meet in person at least a few times.

You can say that, again.
