I kinda blushed from awkwardness earlier today. My wife and I needed bike helmets. She went first, but had to ask questions. The guy behind the counter did little to help other than to tell her the price and sizing. He didn’t even move to assist her.
When it was my turn, I woman in her 50’s, presumably, moved pretty quickly from behind the counter to help me with sizing, fit and adjustment - very friendly. My wife just shook her head and walked outside the small shop while I paid for the two helmets.

I'd say probably 2021, when a girl co-worker I've been sweet on (before this, I did ask her out, but she said she wasn't looking to be in a relationship right now), actually approached me for once (I always instigated the conversations), caught me by surprise. LOL, I could feel that warm tingling sensation rising up from my chest to the top of my head. I just wanted to find the nearest eyewash station to cool off. 🥵
