You haven't given anyone reason to block or mute you, so I doubt that is the case.
I noticed that a lot of the people that I responded to their posts often - I just do not see them as much even though they are still active.
I normally try to avoid going to their profile because people on here are so fickle that they will sometimes block just for looking at it.
Maybe this algorithm is set up to steer us away from those we converse with the most often.
I have an alt that I never post from, sometimes I log into that one and it is an entirely different SW.
I mostly focus on the conversations rather than 'who is who" because people block way too quickly anyways.

@HoeBag it is so weird how people block you for looking at their profile when there's no other way to interact.
It seems like the algorithm is really screwed up. I rarely see people I follow or am friends with. Yet I'll see the same catfish posts for days.

@ScreamingFox I think a lot of us regulars have the same concerns.
"Did my friends mute/block me? Why do I not see their posts? Am I shadow banned?"
It is none of that. Nobody is real happy with how this feed works.
As far as people blocking just for looking at their profile, I do not know how often that happens, but have read stories on here about it.
I think on or off line, we all feel "left out" at times. People deal with it in different ways. Some people basically "Shut down" or online they just block everyone. Like trying to get even.
I think ultimately that social media that works like this is just trying to sow resentment among people.
Crap thing is, hostility seems to be a big selling point in the media.
