How's your week coming along?

@BamPow ive hade a triple bypass..its not fun..but you discover alot of things about yourself in the process.

@Jlester I’m getting a mechanical heart valve to replace a bicuspid valve that is a birth defect. It’s full blown open heart surgery like a bypass operation, so I’m guessing the recovery time and process are similar. I’ve been so fatigued for so long now that I’m ready to go for it. I’m probably more worried about my 90-pound silver lab than anything. He thinks he’s a lapdog (because he kinda is), but I’m going to have to keep him off of me for two months.

@BamPow be prepared for the day after surgery, youll probably cough alot due tonthe throat tube,and it fucking hurts..

@Jlester They have me doing lung resistance exercises to get ready for that, because apparently pneumonia is a significant risk coming out of this.
