Should I call the police? What can I do?

This blood curdling scream just woke me up, it sounded like it was in the neighborhood but I couldn’t tell exactly where.

It sounded real, like this woman was in legit fear, and now there’s complete silence.
I’m stressing, like was this a prank? Should I call someone?? 😰 am I overreacting? Maybe someone just had a night terror?

Call them

"I need to report a woman screaming. I'm sorry I don't know where it was located but if you could send someone to check the neighborhood I'd appreciate it"

Imagine if there is a woman bleeding on the street that might be saved by that phone call.

Worst case scenario is that you did all you could at the time.

I’d rather them tell me it was nothing then do absolutely nothing and regretting it later 😔 I’m currently on the phone with them

@Ashly 90% its a mountain lion or American Puma scream you heard. They are large cats that are now starting to integrate into urbanareas.
