People who are always late, why don't you just leave earlier?

They procrastinate because they don’t want to go. They seek attention for being late. They handle their anxiety by making their arrival time optional.
@Muthafukajones sounds exactly like my coworker....yes, she's a millennial....our start time is 8am but i guess she figures 20 minute driving time counts as working. she's 20 minutes late every single day....really pisses me off the little "princess" gets away with it

@beermeplease I don’t know the structure of your work but she will likely be fired for it sooner or later.
@Muthafukajones well the thing is a few years ago she would have been. i've been here for "decades" so i've seen it all. but yeah, eventually she will be fired but the boss has patience as it is tough finding people

@beermeplease what job is it?
@Ferise1 inside sales mostly.....so go figure for 20 minutes there's no sales person answering the phone.

@beermeplease What happens with employees like that is that they do enough to keep their job but they erode the patience of their employer and also build no currency from perceived hard work. The first moderate screw up and she will be gone. Another person who came on time everyday might be forgiven but she won’t be.
