how can you have the strength to go outside

when you feel you don't look good at the moment? i get quite self conscious and i have to go out shortly......because ive put on weight again around my stomach and i think my clothes don't look right on me....is this due to lack of self confidence and self belief?

i had my self confidence undermined a lot in the past...anyhow, how can i go outside to do things when i feel this way?
