That I got 1.25 points for my highschool track team in the "fat man" (Official called the "Weighted") relays, when there was four of us, that didn't have a team to run with, but we joined together at the last minute and formed a team and beat all the schools that did have 4 runners available.
But I think you had to be a track "heavy weight" to qualify, which was 225lbs.
Also, my head coach who was doing the official weigh-in for all runners for the 185lb and 225lb weighted relays yelled at me when I tried to follow proper protocol, to weigh-in 🤣 as I wasting his time 😂 he yelled and then laughed about it.
I wrestled at 275lbs. So coach thought I was exempt from having to weigh-in, as it wouldn't be questioned (but he never told me that lol)...
I guess the weight ins were just for the people that were and could be questioned. In wrestling, everyone had to weigh in no matter what.
