How do I politely ask my girlfriend to become my legal guardian

I'm 35 my girlfriend is 42 I want her to take me in for legal guardianship because my dad is getting older I want him to slow down because he needs to take care of my stepmom more but I think my girlfriend would be a good candidate to become my legal guardian.
I am worried about my dad's physical health and mental health.

That's the worst thing you could do. If you have a counselor, please speak with them about this. You don't want to sign your life over to anyone. You will lose your legal and personal rights. That's serious. Don't do that. You'll be sorry.
